My husbands mom passed away in May after a very short, but very agonizing fight with lung and brain cancer. It was this time last year we enjoyed our last months with her knowing she was healthy, knowing we had a lifetime of her as a mom, and a Nana to our 17 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old. I thank God daily that we didn’t know yet, at Christmas, that our world was getting ready to come to a grinding halt. As it happened, January brought a bout of illness, followed by double vision. We took her to chemo (which she completed like a champ!) in the small hopes of giving her an extra 6 months with us. We watched her get sick, my husband was given the grim task of shaving her waist length hair, my toddler daughter, who never questioned that she was Nanas everything, watched her hero fall down a ramp, after her legs grew far too weak to stand, carefully listened while words became foreign to her, and eventually watched her sleep her final days on this earth. However, Mother’s Day (the last time myself and the kids saw her) we told her we loved her as we were leaving, and listened as the room filled up one last time with moms sweet voice, telling us she loved us too. In the end, her heart wasn’t strong enough to fight anymore. But, because of this gift, my husband can have his mom near his heart once again. I will soon order a couple more from you, as we all would love to be able to hold this dearly missed woman a little closer to us each day. Thank you and God Bless you for making such beautiful pieces.
I'm in love with my necklace. I'm able to now take my husband with me everywhere and it means so much to me as I miss him so much. The owners of this company are so sweet and caring. I originally purchased a chain that wasn't long enough and they sent me the longer one in the pic and it's perfect! I would highly recommend purchasing from this company!
